About the School

St Ignatius College is a Jesuit school in identity and mission for boys aged 11-18. It was founded at Stamford Hill in 1894, and moved to the Enfield site in 1968.
Like all Jesuit schools, its aim is to provide a sound, intellectual and technological formation, not as an end in itself but as an aid to the fullest possible development of each individual student.
The school was founded in Stamford Hill, South Tottenham in 1894 and moved to its current site on Turkey Street in 1968. The College is in the Trusteeship of the Society of Jesus and is proud to be a Jesuit school.
Did you know that St.Ignatius was once home to one of the world's most famous film directors? The College has a long tradition of teaching exceptional individuals.
