"Pupils enjoy school and value their education. Relationships between the pupils and the teachers are very positive. Pupils and staff see themselves as ‘men and women for others’, who treat all with the respect and care they deserve."  (Ofsted, 2019)

Our Sixth Form has just under two hundred students actively pursuing the highest standards of academic attainment. In recent years results have been exemplary and this has allowed many of our students to go on to study at higher education institutions all over the UK.

Happy, secure and challenged students are the keys to academic success. Our excellent reputation is built on high standards of achievement, work, commitment, good behaviour, dress, attendance and involvement in school life.

St Ignatius College’s Sixth Form is open to boys and girls.  We are proud that so many of our young men and women are acknowledged by the wider community to be upstanding citizens, exemplary in their behaviour and committed to serving others. At St Ignatius College we aim to ensure your son or daughter will be successful, happy and fulfilled during their time in the Sixth form. We strive to provide a first class education and our pledge to you is that we will work in partnership – school, parent, your child– to make sure that it happens.

Our examination results, combined with our outstanding pastoral care and expert subject teaching make the Sixth Form at St Ignatius College the ‘jewel in our crown’. Our students have made excellent progress over the past three years. In 2019, 42% of our students gained A*-B grades and 72% gained A*-C grades.
