Jesuit Leadership Conference at Stonyhurst College

Four of our students recently attended a leadership conference at Stonyhurst College, where they learned about becoming effective leaders and how to inspire the next generation. This experience will undoubtedly serve them well in their roles within our school community and in their future careers.

Our Sixth Form Curriculum and Ambition Programme are designed to give our students the best chance of achieving the next steps of their choice. This year 2 students are going to Oxford University and 4 secured competitive degree apprenticeships

Year 12 had a great workshop with Talk the Talk, learning how to be confident communicators by developing effective use of structuring in short talks and presentations and applying persuasive language techniques to get their message across effectively.

We welcomed over 130 year 11 students who plan on joining our Sixth Form next year. It was a great day of team building, experiencing A Level lessons and getting to know the school and staff.  We are are looking forward to seeing everyone in September.

A highlight of our Ambition Programme is that each Friday morning we arrange a speaker from a huge variety of industries to give a talk about their chosen career. If this is something you would like to do, we would be very happy to hear from you.
