CAREERS EDUCATION AND GUIDANCE

Careers Education and Guidance promotes the skills and understanding that are necessary for our students to make informed decisions about the choices that they face at each stage of their career development.  Years Eight to Thirteen are identified as the recipients of Careers Education and Guidance. The college’s provision prepares students for the opportunities, responsibilities and experiences of adult life. Any queries regarding Careers education are to be directed to Mrs G Pastore: pastoreg@st-ignatius.enfield.sch.uk - Telephone: 01992 717835.

WORK EXPERIENCE

All year 10 students receive the opportunity to attend a works skills workshop which proves to be an invaluable opportunity. It gives students skills and experiences that will allow them stand out to potential employers as well as helping students choose the right sector to work in. The workshop also equips students with a number of  soft skills such as team working, communication skills and commercial awareness.
