College Celebrates Excellent GCSE Results 2020

Congratulations to our Year 11 students and their teachers on achieving excellent results again this summer.

We are very proud of the achievements of each and every one of our students. In the face of all the uncertainty, the hard work and determination of our students has reaped dividends and culminated in success. Despite the disruption this year, we are delighted with our students’ performance.

Particular highlights from our results include:

· Savan gained 6 Grade 9s and 3 Grade 8s
· Nahome gained 6 Grade 9s, 2 Grade 8s and 1 Grade 6
· Harris gained 5 Grade 9s, 3 Grade 8s & 1 Grade 7
· Patrick gained 4 Grade 9s 4 Grade 8s and 1 Grade 7
· Damian gained 4 Grade 9s, 3 Grade 8s and 2 Grade 7s
· Emmanuel gained 2 Grade 9s, 4 Grade 8s and 3 Grade 7s
· Vinoorth gained 2 Grade 9s, 3 Grade 8s, 3 Grade 7s and 1 Grade 6
· Gabriel gained 2 Grade 9s, 3 Grade 8s, 3 Grade 7s and 1 Grade 6
· Nathan gained 5 Grade 8s and 4 Grade 7s

We are delighted that many of our students are remaining with us into the Sixth Form. They are studying a range of subjects including in the Sciences, Humanities, Maths and English and are ready to take the next steps on their academic journey.

Once again, our students have made superb progress. Well done! This is testament to their hard work and the high quality of teaching and support from our staff and the support of parents and carers.

China Trip Students also learnt about Chinese medicine. They made their own sachets with Chinese herbs and 🌺 flowers. The majority of them went for the study and relax sachets because they wanted to sleep well and be focused in their Mandarin lessons. pic.twitter.com/kzZjqHjECf

Our Year 12 Geography students have just returned from a busy week in the Lake District, where they have been learning new fieldwork techniques and collecting data.
