Geography Trip to Stratford
5 October 2023
Yesterday, all our Year 11 Geography students spent the day in Stratford, to study the effects of the Olympic regeneration on areas in and around the Olympic Park.
They visited the New Town, East Village and Hackney Wick, as well as the park itself. Our students practised a range of fieldwork techniques, including sketch mapping, Environmental Quality Surveys and Land use surveying. When it came to questionnaires, the boys were very keen to ask residents of East Village what they thought of the impacts of regeneration.
